Terms of Use

These terms apply to yusefbataineh.com and to anything you do through it — browsing, sending a message or booking inquiry, joining the newsletter and buying tickets. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

Who we are

The website is operated by Yusef Bataineh (“we”, “us”). By using the site, or by buying a ticket through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Using the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • try to break, overload or get around the site’s security, or access parts of it you are not meant to;
  • copy the site’s content in bulk, scrape it or use automated tools against it;
  • send false, misleading or abusive information through the forms, or pretend to be someone else;
  • use the site in any way that breaks the law.

We may block access or remove submissions that break these rules.

Content and trademarks

The videos, photos, text, logos and the name “Yusef Bataineh / يوسف بطاينة” belong to Yusef Bataineh or to the people who licensed them to us. You are welcome to share links to the site.

Journalists and event organisers may use the material in the press kit to cover or promote Yusef’s shows, with credit. Any other use — including in advertising or on merchandise — needs our written permission.

Tickets and shows

Tickets sold by other sellers. Some shows are sold by third-party ticket sellers. When you follow a ticket link to another site, that seller’s terms apply and they are responsible for your payment, your tickets and any refund.

Tickets sold on this site. When a show is sold here:

  • prices are shown in the currency stated, including any fees, before you pay;
  • your order is confirmed only once your payment has been received and confirmed; payments are processed by our payment provider;
  • tickets are sent by email with a QR code. Each QR code admits one person, once — keep it private, because the first scan is the one that counts;
  • tickets are for personal use. Reselling them for more than their face value, or for commercial purposes, is not allowed, and tickets bought or resold in breach of this may be cancelled;
  • what happens if a show is cancelled, postponed or moved is explained in the Refund Policy.

At the show, the venue’s rules apply (age limits, entry times, security checks). Entry may be refused for safety reasons or disruptive behaviour. Recording the show is not allowed unless we say otherwise. Shows may be filmed or photographed, and audience members may appear in that footage.

Private and corporate bookings

Sending a booking inquiry does not reserve a date. A booking is confirmed only by a written agreement setting out the date, fee, deposit and other terms; that agreement takes priority over these terms for the event it covers.

Newsletter

If you join the newsletter we will email you about shows and new releases. Every email has an unsubscribe link. How we handle your address is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Accuracy and liability

We work to keep dates, venues and times accurate, but mistakes and changes happen; the details on your ticket and from the venue take priority.

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as travel or accommodation costs, and our total responsibility for a ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction. This does not take away any consumer protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in force when you bought a ticket applies to that ticket. Questions: hello@yusefbataineh.com.
